Sometimes we need to get away from noisy and loud sounds. Loud sounds can be over stimulating. It is good to have some silence so we can hear the sound of our breathing. We can hear our intimate thoughts. Quiet sounds can help us to focus inwardly and create a peace of mind and can quiet the mind.  We’re allowed to get back to our own rhythm and we can be centered again. A ticking of a clock can also be soothing to our ears while reading an interesting book.  Low sounds can quickly ease us to a nice sound sleep.
