Always Begin Again

The light, begin to bleed.

No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again. — Buddha

Starting a new day is our opportunity to let go of our past. The past is something we can’t control. The past is but a memory. It is something we can no longer touch. Today we have the opportunity to create new pleasant memories where they can be stored in our memory banks for future references. We have control over what we do today, if we stay in the present. Today we can be hands-on and then we can see later our fingerprints on everything we’ve touched when we do look back in our past. We can either give our power away to our past or, we can use our power to make a difference today. We do have a choice as to where we want to place our attention. We might have lost a loved-one that we don’t want to let go or, we did some things in our past that we don’t want to forgive. Nonetheless, there is nothing we can do today about what happened yesterday but we can always begin again.
