When Criticism Is Constructive

empowered

Post Written By Eugene Morgan

Sometimes we react too quickly when there is a criticism made by someone because of what we did or didn’t do. Our response is like a knee-jerk reaction because our unconscious mind wants to protect our ego. We don’t like criticism because it hurts and we feel a sense of shame and embarrassment. Instead of hurting about it, we can use the hurt and seize the opportunity to improve ourselves. We can turn the criticism into something constructive that can be more helpful to ourselves and to others. When we seize the opportunity to improve ourselves then we are empowered and we feel empowered.
