When We Make Time

Time Travel: We Leave For New Zealand Today.

You will never ‘find’ time for anything. If you want time, you must make it. — Charles Buxton

The quote above is an old cliche, but it is also a truism. It can still apply to our lives especially when we say to ourselves that we don’t have the time or enough time to do anything. We can always scale back and prioritize what’s important to do first. We forget that we create time. The things we are doing right now is the time we’ve created. At one point we made a conscious decision to make time to do something and since then it has become an automatic thing we do. When the things we do become automatic, we’re no longer in the present. We need to return to the present or step back to see what things we can scale back to create other desirable things we would like to do in our lives.
