Holiday Of Thanks

Today is Thanksgiving. If we broken down the word “Thanksgiving”, it would be “thanks” and “giving.” When someone gives us his or her time and effort, after it is finished we politely say “thank you” and with a reply “you’re welcome.” This is a ritual that we use because it is polite and that we value and appreciate the time that the other person gives.  We know it takes the effort to give to another and when someone is thankful for the services we put forth; it is very much appreciated to know that we made another person happy. Respect is ensued with both parties through this transaction and experience, and this experience encourages more of the same.
