Fulfilled Life

Void II

“Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck.” — Dalai Lama

We all have needs, wants and desires we want to fulfill. The problem is we sometimes want them now. Although the world is fast paced, we don’t have to have things right away. Sometimes it is good to regroup and ask ourselves; do we need this thing or that thing in our lives? Can we live without fulfilling a desire or getting something we think we need? Those things we have already in our lives are unfulfilling; either we no longer interact with them or perhaps we have this need to fill some void in our lives. We all have voids in our lives some are bigger than others. However, we will always have some void. Nothing can fill a void. However, we’re strong enough to live a fulfilling life with an unfilled void.
