Down to earth Truisms

What is a truism?  Truism is something we experience on a daily basis that we know it’s true.  For example, we know based on experience that the sun will rise.

When we throw a ball up in the air, we know it will fall down to earth. When the temperature drops, we wear sometimes to keep our bodies warm. When the temperature is higher than 90 degrees, we take off a layer or two of clothing to get comfortable.

When we’re hungry, we fix something to eat.  When we’re tired, we rest our bodies.  When we say we’re sorry to someone we hurt, the person’s resentment disappears.  Our experiences are self-evidence that truisms do exist.
